GREG CAPLAN

After 18-years in the post production industry, Greg launched Dovetail in 2008.

As co-founder of Final Cut, a commercials editing company, and Clear, a VFX company, he navigated the transition during the analogue-to-digital video revolution.

In doing so, Greg was a pioneer of fast networking, making multiple disparate platforms talk to each other and transferring vast data and media files across local and remote networks.

Greg’s hands-on and in depth experience of scaling businesses and understanding the need for ongoing investment has proved invaluable when helping client’s make sense of their IT infrastructure and planning their capital expenditure roadmaps as they grow.

Recognising the need for SMEs to blend day-to-day IT support with a bespoke service based on individual client need, Greg’s vision is to empower clients with the technical solutions needed to enhance team productivity and collaboration, helping client’s scale their business in the most efficient, cost effective way possible.

When Greg is not spinning plates and wearing multiple hats at Dovetail, you’ll find him cheering for Liverpool Football Club when he can find the time.

FRAN CAPLAN

Fran has spent the past 25 years dedicated to fostering business growth for ad agencies and marketing companies including JWT, Leo Burnett, McCann, St Luke’s, krow and gyro.

Fran is the first point of contact for new Dovetail clients and uses her honed listening skills to understand your current IT concerns and will introduce you to an IT expert to scope out the areas where we can have the biggest impact on you and your business.

Fran’s unwavering passion lies in caring for our team, ensuring their well-being, and fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. As a true champion of our “looking after people, not machines” ethos, she has created a workplace that emphasises genuine connections. Through this commitment, Fran empowers the team to deliver exceptional client experiences, prioritising human interactions every step of the way.

When Fran is not working she can be found taking Otto, Dovetail’s resident 45kg Briard, on walks around parks across London and beyond.

Head of Information Security

CHARLIE BAILLY

Charlie heads up our Information Security Team and has successfully implemented multiple ISO 27001 projects, including Dovetail’s ISO 27001 certification. He is a qualified Lead Implementer and Internal Auditor for ISO 27001. He also played a pivotal role in implementing Cyber Essentials for a diverse range of organisations.  Outside of work, Charlie’s passion for cooking takes him on adventures across the globe, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Cuba, and Europe. During his travels, Charlie’s collects recipes so he can collate his own personalised cookbook so he can continue experimenting in the kitchen.

Account Management Lead

COLE MCLAREN-BAILEY

Cole has joined Dovetail in 2023 and is an experienced leader of Account Management teams. He has over 6 years experience working in client facing roles across sectors, including the tech industry. Cole’s role within the business is to ensure we are always customer centric and developing our product to fit the needs of our clients. When he isn’t at work, Cole is an avid supporter of Burnley Football Club (King Charles’ favourite football team) and attends the theatre and concerts regularly.

Service Desk Manager

ROOSHI PHAKEY

Joining Dovetail as the Service Desk Manager, Rooshi manages the service desk technicians, driving positive improvements and fostering growth within team. Rooshi’s previous experience includes working as a Service Desktop Engineer at Grey London and a VIP Support Specialist for NBC Universal Media. Outside of work, Rooshi has a passion for modifying cars, with a particular affinity for VW vehicles, having owned two or three at the same time. Rooshi also collects Nike Air Max trainers and enjoys gaming on Xbox, particularly immersing himself in the world of Call of Duty.

KEVAN WISDOM

Kevan is our Automation and Platform lead. With over two decades of experience, Kevan has worked in various IT roles starting as a System Analyst to later specialising in System Integration and working as a System Architect. Fueled by an interest in Cyber Security, Kevan earned the prestigious Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. 

Kevan’s leadership and motivational skills extend beyond IT, as he once served as head coach for a five-time champion Jamaican Premier League football team. Off the field, he’s a passionate Arsenal FC fan, supporting his favorite club through thick and thin.
